Off the record, the catholic church where I grew up at gave money out to just
about anyone! Reason being for a couple of reasons... 1> They didn't report
as much money to the diacese as they actually collected because they'd prefer
local people get help as compared to people in other countries. 2> Had they
reported how much money they actually collected, they'd have to pay a lot in
taxes, so they just sorta stashed a bit of it in secret locations and handed
it out as needed.... ;-) As to be expected....
