Truth to be told, you can purchase digital downloads from places that will let y
ou keep them.
In Gog and Zoom-Platform, you can purchase your games and then download them any
time you want. If you want to ensure your purchase won't disappear, you can just
download it to your har drive and install it anytime you want.
I find this very handy because oftentimes games etc. get upgraded and the previo
us versions get removed from downloads... if you happen to like the old version
better, you'd better keep your own copy.
