29 states have laws with restrictions based on involuntary commitment to
a mental institution, those determined to be a danger to themselves or
others, or found to be addicted to illegal drugs. Sorry, no mention of
transgender as a basis for limiting access to firearms.
As I mentioned before, if your premise that transgender is a mental
illness, your argument fails.
