I haven't heard that one. It seems like they are working to make "trans" a
physical illness rather than the mental illness that it is. I guess they need
to deflect blame away from their operatives in the schools that push children
toward getting their healthy body parts chopped off.
Now, I have seen some work on homosexuality being tied to the wide-spread use
of birth control pills (there's a unintentional pun in there). No "smoking
gun" on that yet, but the evidence so far seems to point that way.
