I tried KDE once around 12 years ago and thought it was too much like Windows,
which is why I switched to Gnome. At the time, I had read that being
Windows-like was one of KDE's goals, because they wanted to make it easier for
Windows users to switch to Linux. I suppose it would be worth giving it a try
again though..
