Quite a bit of limitations, I might add. Whereas the Linux command line is the
exact same as if you weren't using a desktop environment.

Sure. Some distros like Ubuntu, Sabayon, SuSE and others you really don't have
to use the command line if you don't want to. Though even when using any of
those, I prefer to install things with a command line package manager. I will
never trust the GUI ones as much as I do watching everything happen on the
command line.
