I think organized skepticism gets very close to that. And yes, organized skeptic
ism is a thing. I am actually very suspicious about organized skepticism because
it seems like biased skepticism to me: they are super skeptic about tablets wri
ten in the Bronze Age but will eat anything in yesterday's newspaper as long as
they like it.
