Minix-VMD is the one that used virtual memory and had an X server.

MINIX is a lot of fun and there are pre-made VMs floating around, too. It's a
great learning tool, I learned more about TCP/IP networking by reading ne2000.c
than I did in a networking class.
I wish I had the backups from that first system -- I think that was my first
web page ever.
