I deleted the bbs and put it back on and the updater worked.
maybe before it was a fluke. i am on a win8 vm like the sysop's system.
i'm doing a restore on the os and seeing if it will do it again.
i'm pretty sure i typed in the synchronet/ path instead of letting it do
sbbs/ but that's possible too. mabye i screwed up. i work really fast and i
type very fast.
