Curious what the results were grease. Had a similar issue years ago, and turned
out to be that there were known issues with the linux kernel's driver for my net
work card's chipset. The answer was going directly to broadcom, compiling a driv
er in a kernel module from source, and loading it. Would recommend doing an lspc
i -v | more and look up whether others have had issues with the wireless card y
ou're running on the version of the kernel you have installed.
