It's greed. Why not offer the internet-only customers some free local
channels, in HD for sure, and then be like "We hope you're enjoying your
complimentary local channels, here's a special offer on tv service!"
My only other suspicion is that by giving us free local channels, they're taking
away from the bandwidth for tv-subscribers?
