Though I never met him in person, I'm pretty sure it was Kurt Harland that essen
tially *was* Information Society all by himself in the mid-90s, and he conducted
weekly IRC chats with the fans. I participated in those when he was doing
them. That was unusual, I think, for musicians to do that sort of thing then. Ac
tually, it is now too. But it was enjoyable.
