I've been working on the Seabee, and making some progress. I had to
borrow a muffler that would fit the engine without fouling the fuselage,
and I have come across a number of little quirks that I was easily able to
correct.

Unfortunately, I have just discovered a rather nasty flaw! The two holes
in the trailing edge of the wing that are used to bolt it onto the
fuselage have been mis-drilled! You couldn't really see, because the wing
came covered, but it became glaringly obvious once I cut away the covering
to accommodate the bolts.

I am going to have to open the holes out, fit a carefully drilled ply
plate, align the wing and mark the plate, cut away the covering from under
the plate, glue the plate into place, turn the wing over, dowel the opened
out holes, turn the wing back over and use the plate as a template to
re-drill new holes. It isn't hard, just tedious and time-consuming.

Argh! :-/

Anyway, getting close. Once the blasted holes are fixed, then I only have
to do the belly-pan and cowl, then balance, trim and tune.
