My wife and I watched this movie and didn't care for it. The sound track was dis
tracting, the out-of-place 8mm film footage was distracting, the bad acting (mix
ed with some very good acting) was distracting, the lack of chemestry between so
me of the characters, the lack of continuity of the hero's character, the plot w
as kind of dumb. I just didn't get it.
I suppose if you're a huge fan of rap, you could over look all that and enjoy it
, but we just sort of hate-watched the whole movie. Spike Lee seemed to just kin
d of phone this one in (Apple didn't pay enough?), to me.
