I didn't watch all of DS9 when it was originally on the air (I didn't think it w
as as interesting as the other Star Trek shows), but I've since watched all of i
t, and I enjoyed it. I remember this episode.. Also I know the reference to Ed
die Murphy as Buckwheat on SNL. :)
A couple of my favorite episodes of DS9 are "Trials and Tribble-Ations" and "Tak
e Me Out to the Holo-Suite". I also like the episodes in the holo-suite with Vi
c Fontaine. I'd since learned that the actor who played Vic Fontaine, James Dar
ren, was an actual singer in real-life who sung the same type of music.
And one of the funny things they did with Vic Fontaine was that in one of the ep
isodes involving the mirror universe, Vic Fontaine happened to be a real human r
ather than a hologram in the mirror universe.. :P
