The Wall was the big album when I was at the age to just get into Floyd. I
still like it but, once compared to their earlier works, it has fallen down
the list of my Floyd favorites.
If that, or The Final Cut, was the first Floyd album that the dislikers
were exposed to, they need to try some other ones. I no longer remember
the first time I listened to "The Wall" all the way through, but I do
remember the impressions that the openings of "Dark Side of the Moon" and
"Wish You Were Here" made on me the first time I listened to those... with
proper headphones, no less. ;) "Meddle," too!
