After the original Unreal Tournament came out in 1999, I played that quite a bit
and mainly enjoyed online deathmatch games. This might be old news to some, bu
t recently I realized it has been made free to download & play, and there curren
tly are active servers online.
In addition to Windows, it has also been made available for Linux and Windows. I
f you've bought it from Steam (game of the year edition), there's a v469 update
you can download and unzip over your current files; you can also extract the Lin
ux-native version there and run that. There are also full installers available.
