First off, by referring to people who agree with evolution as "evolutionists",
you're laying your bias right out there. There are no "evolutionists", because
it's not a religion. It's a scientific theory, which started as a hypothesis,
and through observable evidence has been promoted to the level of theory.
Secondly, if you think that the sum of the evidence for evolution is based on
us carrying "some characteristic of our parents", you don't understand it
enough to even discuss it. Why don't you put down your Bible and go read some
scientific texts on evolution. It's a little more complicated than that.
As far as faith goes, you can keep it. I'll take direct evidence over "faith"
any day.
