As a former law enforcement academy instructor I can honestly say that you have
that -partially- right. But it became an insult and a derogatory word. I am
not quoting from the Holy Book of Cuss words... just asking that we at least
examine if our postings are actually going to help -end- the proplem or
increase it.

True, but if you are inciting the fool then you are not a part of the solution,
you are magnifiying the foolishness.

Tim... I do not disagree with the fallacy of the one liner post... but if we
really want it to stop we should not feed the fire. There are other ways to
deal with it, like participating in civil discussion (like we are doing here)
and not acknowledge the postings of the rude. Either they will start to tow
the line or go away. And when they really cross the line there is the "twit
filter".
