Hey all,
I do not like that word at all either.. I would have to agree that it conveys
a lot of hate, however, I don't believe in censorship either. It is really a
good thing that people can say those words. It gives us an opportunity to see
how we have grown as a society, and how far we are moving to bridge the gap
between black and white cultures. So far, most people really dislike that word,
however we do know that some out there still have the tendency to make race a
divider between them. Not just whites, but blacks as well. If censorship was in
place, how would we know where the problem spots were?? Sometimes it's nice to
have the opportunity to be offended every now and again, it gives us a place to
focus our efforts to promote change. Besides, when it is all done and over
with, the real judge of us all is God and him alone.
