Deism is "the great clockmaker" belief - that God started things up and then
left us to our own devices.
I do not find it any more spiritually comforting than being an Atheist. If I'm
going to worship a God, he's going to be a God who is going to be involved in
my life. Otherwise, I have no use for him.
