You probably need to install the cvs package. I don't remember if centos
uses yum or apt package utilities, but in the case of apt, the command is
probably 'apt-get install cvs'...yum is probably similar. Check the docs for
centos.
In any case, if you can't get cvs to work, you can always download and unpack
the stable version, then upgrade to the latest from the archived files on
synchro.net.
