64bit Ubuntu would work just fine with Synchronet. Though you might run into
problems setting up door games. I had Sync compiled on 64bit Gentoo working
great even with door games. But it took me bugreporting upstream that DOSEMU
didn't work on 64bit at the time. The Gentoo devs took it upon themselves to
make it work for me, which was awesome. Not sure if it was pushed to other
distros, though.
