Yup, with SyncTERM, I get the feeling I'm using an old dialup program, like
Telix. I believe you can even limit the data rate to modem levels. It has
all the features you'd expect: scrollback buffer, several transfer protocols
to choose from...heck, if I'm not mistaken, the thing even emulates the
Operation Overkill terminal.
Anyhow, point being...yes, you don't know what you're missing. :)
